Privacy Policy for MAX Privacy Guard Last updated: July 8, 2026 MAX Privacy Guard is a privacy-first browser extension for web.max.ru. It works locally in the user browser and does not operate a remote server, analytics backend, or telemetry endpoint. The extension does not transmit chat contents, browsing data, identifiers, analytics, local logs, or personal data to the developer or to any third-party server. The extension may keep local event logs in chrome.storage.local, such as blocked tracker events, URL parameter cleanup, sendBeacon blocking, WebRTC cleanup, or user toggles. These logs remain on the user device and can be cleared by the user. The extension requests permissions only for current functionality: declarativeNetRequest for tracker blocking, storage for local settings/logs, tabs and scripting for supported browser-extension actions, and host access for web.max.ru and known tracking endpoints it blocks. MAX Privacy Guard does not make MAX end-to-end encrypted, does not guarantee anonymity, and cannot control server-side behavior of MAX or network providers. MAX Privacy Guard is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by MAX, VK, or any related company.
